FOR SALE: Mauser Model K-98 (long rail system) sniper rifle. The Carl Zeiss Scope #76674 has clear optics. The chamber is dated 41 and is a standard 8mm Mauser caliber. Chamber reads B.Y.F. 41 but hard to photo due to the scope mounted on the rifle. This rifle came from an estate sale and is believed to be a WWII veterans 'bring back'. There are no import marks on the rifle. The bore is bright and shiny and the rifle appears to be fully functional. The scope base is marked with a light waffen amp with 135 and is serial numbered to the rifle #7972. The safety key also has a light waffen amp. Butt plate has 'waffle' style serrations. There is a leather carrying tube presumed to be for the scope.
