Description:
Serial #51370, .22 LR, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1927-made pistol that retains 85-90% of a mixed original blue on the barrel and some of the frame components, with a well done reapplied blue finish on the balance. There is some silvering at the muzzle, and along a few of the high edges and projections. The slide is numbered to the gun and has some graying on both the face of the slide and the barrel breech face. The pistol is outfitted with the later, smokeless mainspring housing (correct for this very late production pistol). The original checkered walnut grips are in fine shape with only minor handling blemishes and some mild flattening of the points on either panel. The pistol is housed in a period, dark brown H.H. Heiser holster that is in fine condition with only a few minor surface scuffs and scratches. The pistol comes with a single original two-tone magazine, and is a very good-fine example of a desirable, late model Pre-Woodsman. FFL or C&R
