Antique Old US Copper Cast Iron Black Powder Signal Cannon 2.
This Toy Signal Cannon is found on Page 226 of the 1894-95 Montgomery Ward & Co. Catalog. Listed as: #25012 Iron Cannon. Mounted on wheels painted red with cannon and carriage painted black. Length of barrel 5 inches and bore 5/16 inches, weight 1 3/4 lbs. In the catalog the price shows! "Price ............ .38 cents". This great toy is in very good condition showing most of its original paint, with no broken or missing parts. It has a bored through touch hole and at one time was fired. (I found powder residue). The perfect addition to any gun room, old west room, civil war room or a treasured gift for a special executives desk.
