I have for sale a very fine and original condition and matching Colt Civilian new Army Model of 1894 Revolver in .38 Caliber, and made in or about 1901. C&R Eligible of course. This one is SN 161128, and has matching numbers everywhere as detailed on Robert Best's resource book for this model. SN on bottom of butt, assembly numbers match on the grip panels, cylinder latch, frame under the cylinder crane, and also on the crane. It has a tiny 8 stamped on the rear of the right side of the trigger guard bow. Also a small 38 stamped (struck lightly) on the bottom of the barrel near the frame. Fire blue hammer, trigger and some screws snow nicely, as well as the charcoal high polish dark blue (almost black) on much of the balance of the gun. The straps and ejector rod show more thinning than anywhere else. Action is fabulous, the correct grips fit perfectly, and bore is good with only minor, shallow pitting in a few spots. No shipping to CA, NJ, or MD. Shipping to your FFL or C&R will be $40. US Postal Money Orders preferred but will accept other forms, will hold until funds clear if not USPS MO.
