Mauser 1930 Commercial Broomhandle .30 Mauser caliber pistol. Early model 1930 with vertical address letters on frame and serial number placement on left side of the barrel address. Bore is worn but we test fired it and it worked fine with Hornady .86 grain .30 Mauser ammunition. This pistol has 3 Chinese characters that are for the People’s Army of China. These were made by Mauser for export to Generalissimo Chang Kai Shek. He was the leader of China from 1928-1975. Note: These Mausers issued to his army were not well cared for and have some surface pits and the blue has always turned gray or brown. There is rust under the grips.
