Description:
Colt .22 calibre Target model pistol made in 1922. This early pre-Woodsman is chambered for .22 Long Rifle standard velocity ammo and was made in the first year of the “new” non-tapered 6 ½” barrel. Checkered wood grips with smooth diamonds around the screw holes. Condition wise this is a nearly 100 year old pistol and it is showing some spots of “old age”; light surface rust on the top left of the slide and in various places on the barrel. The walnut grips are overall good to very good with some areas of smooth and/or flat spots towards the bottom on both sides. Fine condition two-tone original magazine. Great bore and excellent mechanics. Very desirable Colt .22 pistol.
