GONE!!!!! TWO DAY SALE ONLY AND THIS GOES OFF TO A CIVIL WAR DEALER!!! Marked down $400. Bought this here in Texas but just came up on orders with the Army this week. I am selling almost all of my personal collection. PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS ALSO! This is a beautiful Colt 2nd Model Dragoon; Serial No. 9838; Made in 1851; It has all matching numbers except un-numbered wedge; Honest Brown Patina Revolver; Original Holster fits like a glove; “J H S 1866” Punch Dotted on backstrap; As per previous owner Verbal provenance is Identified by Mike Hesket as belonging to Confederate J.H. Salmon of Co. D 9th Texas Infantry; He was from Dangerfield (Titus County), Texas; He was at Meridian, MS. May 4, 1865 & was Surrendered by Lt. Gen. R. Taylor & was paroled May 11, 1865. Action works great and grips are excellent also. Most of these are beat up. I am not charging for the Confederate IDd soldier tied to this gun. Really not charging for the holster either. $5500 for everything out the door to include the paper work on the soldier!!! You will not find any Colt Dragoon of this caliber anywhere near this price on thisweb site, Gun or any Civil War Relic site! Thanks for looking. Excepting reasonable offers on my other listings.
