Description:
A really nice first generation Colt SAA in .41 Colt, 5 1/2" barrel length. The gun retains a good 98% original blue, and the case colors are present in about 95% as well. The mechanics are crisp and bore excelent. The hard rubber grips are in "as new condition". The SN, 138350 is in the correct range for artilleries according to the SAA book by Graham, Kopec and Moore, converted from Cavalries. Fine example in all ways. And it has a small RAC on the frame, as it should. No US on Frame, however.But,
The caliber is wrong for an artillery. I feel that the gun is refinished and may be a composite because of the rac on frame.
