We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
In 1961 Sako introduced the L-61 R Finnbear as their standard long-action rifle for cartridges like the .30-06, 270 Win, and 6.5x55 Swedish. Sako used the L-61 R action until 1972. Normally sold in Europe as the L-61 R Finnbear Model Sporter, the same rifle was imported into the U.S. under the name A-V (V=Roman Numeral 5). The rifle sports a checkered wood stock with brown recoil pad (Sako marked), blued receiver and barrel, with the latter having a length of 24.0 inches. The rifle is chambered for the famous 270 Winchester, a cartridge famous for its good long-range ballistics and accuracy. It can be used on a wide variety of game depending on distance and the bullet weight used. The bluing is in excellent shape with the exception of some minor scratches on top of the barrel towards the muzzle. The stock is very fine shape with no wear to the finish. The A-V is equipped with 1” scope rings. With a good scope, this Sako would make an exceptional hunting rifle.
