Roaring 20s Era 7-Shot Revolver with LEATHER HOLSTER!
Here we present a “U.S. Revolver Company” Top-Break Double Action .22 Rimfire Revolver with the holster, made circa 1920 by Iver Johnson. Arms made under the U.S. Revolver Company name were cheaper versions of the Iver Johnson line. It paralleled the solid frame Iver Johnson Model 1900 and the Hinged Frame Safety Automatic models, but didn’t have the safety hammer feature. It was offered in .22, .32, and .38 calibers. They were sold at the same time as the main Iver Johnson line until the 1940s. This double action only revolver was designed after the very popular Smith & Wesson revolvers of the late 19th Century. With 7 shots and modest size, it would have been handy for concealed carry protection in the turbulent Roaring Twenties!
The overall condition is fine. 90% of the blue finish remains. The markings are clear. The trademarked grips are in great shape. The bore is clean with sharp rifling. The action is excellent. The holster is fine. A sweet little revolver rig!
