Description:
Up for your consideration is a Mint condition Eddystone Model 1917 Rifle chambered in .30-06. These rifles were made on the Enfield platform for U.S and British use. This one is marked with all Correct U.S ordinance bombs and "E" markings for Eddystone. The Parkerized finish is mint with no major wear, and no pitting. Wood is excellent with original correct "3 GM- K" Marking. Stock is in great shape with only a few minor imperfections, but nothing out of the ordinary for a mint condition service rifle. Bore is excellent with strong grooves and only the slightest trace of frost. Original sights are marked E for Eddystone as well. This gun is also still paired with original sling and of course original barrel with Ordinance Bomb, E Proof and 8/18 Date code, meaning this is NOT a Johnson Auto Rebarrel like many one the guns you see online. Original Mint condition cleaning kit is still in the stock as it was issued. Also includes the original 1918 Manual.
