Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful CE 43 German K98 Chambered in 8mm. This code stands for J.P Sauer Und Sohn Gewehrfabrik. This gun was manufactured in 1943 in Suhl, and as title suggests is in mint condition. Blue finish in excellent with only minor spots of wear in exposed areas, and no signs of pitting. As stated all numbers match, please view the photos as every number and proof has been pictured for you to view, including the Waffenamts (Swastikas) and all proofs on small and large parts. Stock is in excellent condition with only a spot of resin on the left side, but no cracks, or major dings to be seen. The Waffenamts on the stock are just barley visible but still present and the stock does bear the H mark signifying its approval for military use. Bore is great with very strong rifling, and only minor frosting, but with the corrosive ammo the Germans used at the time, its very common to see this on almost all K98 Rifles. This Gun is particularly rare due to it having an FXO barrel, which is very uncommon for these CE code rifles.
