AYA Shotgun. Model XXV. Fully scroll and floral engraved and case-colored sidelock game gun. SN: 2502xx. 25" steel nitro proofed barrels with classic EJ Churchill narrow full-length rib, marked in gold "AYA". Barrel flats proofed 12/65 (2 1/2") chambers. Choked 0.10"/0.25" (IC/IMP MOD). Automatic ejectors, articulated front trigger, and automatic safety. Beautiful hand oiled European walnut straight grip stock and splinter forend with double border checkering and drop points. Genuine buffalo horn checkered 1" buttplate. Dims: 15 1/4" LOP x 1 1/8" DAC x 2 1/8" DAH. Neutral cast. Weight: 5lb12oz.
Conditon: Gun is in excellent overall original condition. Barrels retain virtually all original blue and only slightly fading on triggerguard tang. Case color strong throughout. Wood is clean and all original finsh remains. Checkering flat filed originally and remains well-defined albeit slightly softened. Mechanics fine, ejectors strong, and on-face.
