Description:
The first of the big bore lever actions, this rifle features octagonal barrel, brass blade foresight and adjustable notch rear sight. Stock and forearm are smoot walnut with straight grip. It retains much of the blue, especially on the barrel and receiver. The lever and the hammer retain some of the case color. The bore is a bit dark bit shiny and has good rifling.

Metal Condition: Very good. Blue is very good on barrel and magazine tube. Some of the edges are a bit scratched and dented. The receiver has good blue on the flats and top. The carry point has faded to a patina.
Wood Condition: Good. Wood has a number of scratches and dents and has been refinished.
Bore Condition: A bit dark but shiny and good rifling.
Barrels: 28 Inch - Blue, octagonal.
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock: Straight grip walnut.
