We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. This is a genuine pre-ban Colt SP-1 rifle with all the associated features – triangular handguard, no forward assist, A1 sights, fixed carry handle, A1 stock, 20” barrel with 1:12” twist, Colt 20-round magazine – it even comes with the original muzzle cap. A sling comes with the rifle as well. According to the Colt Serial Number Database, this SP-1 left the factory in 1973. The SP-1 was essentially identical in appearance to the original M16A1 sans full-auto position. The finish has some minor wear such as surface marks but is otherwise in great shape. The bore is in excellent shape but difficult to take pictures of due to the extended nature of the flash hider which puts the camera lens too far away to focus on the bore itself. The bottom of the bore is marked “CMPB” which indicates a chrome-plated bore. In addition to the original Colt magazine, this rifle comes with two non-Colt 20-rounders and three 30-round non-Colt magazines. Finally, an original Colt manual is included as well. These rifles are becoming increasingly hard to find. Any hardcore Colt collector has to own one of these fine rifles for their collection.
