Fr. Wilh. Heym Custom Upgraded Ruger Number 1 Rifle - SN:131-43496. Cal: 7x64R. Lavishly deep relief engraved in Germanic Alpine style featuring oak leaf and running Chamois on left, oak leaf and running roebuck on right receiver sides. Custom 23 1/2" hexagonal barrel with single standing express sight and claw detachable rail mounted scope. Set trigger by pushing trigger shoe forward to reveal center set trigger with extremely light pull weight. Nice dark grained European walnut stock featuring a triple-fold cheeckpiece and small schnable forend. 14 3/8" LOP over a brown rubber buttpad. Weight: 8lbs7oz w/ scope, 7lbs1oz w/o scope. Zeiss Diatel Z 6x42 T* scope with duplex reticle.
Condition: Gun is in very nice overall condition. Engraving is well executed and diemensioned. Gun retains all of it's original finishes. Bore is clear, bright, and strong rifling remains. Optics clear. Ejector strong.
Gentlemen, this is a fine rifle produced and customized by two famous makers. The 7x64R cartidge is a real burner and will handle all North American game with ease. Ammo is readily available as well.
