Merkel Big Game Rifle - Model KR1. SN: 1001xx. Cal: 300 Win Mag. 24" barrel with single island standing rear sight and banded front sight. Dovetailed to receive Mekrel scope mounts. Silky smooth and strong KR1 action with stylized spoon bolt handle. Short lift stroke to work bolt makes for a quick action. Unique drop trigger/floorplate reveals removable magazine. Very light and fine trigger pull. "Bolted" rear slide safety. Solid and strong European walnut stock slight palm swell pistol grip and with slight monte carlo comb. 14 1/4" LOP over solid 1/2" brown rubber pad. Extra quick detachable swivel head on forend. Weight 7lbs0oz.
Condition: Gun is in excellent overall condition. All original finishes remain strong and intact. Action is smooth and fully functioning. Bore clear and rifling sharp.
