RARE REMINGTON U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY ROLLING BLOCK .50-45 CAL. CADET RIFLE CIRCA 1868. Only 498 made. All original with 32 ½” barrel. Frame correctly Navy Ordnance stamped “ANCHOR” and proofed “P/FCW”. Very good and complete and matching. Barrel with grey crisp patina. Breech block, hammer and frame screws with original blue/patina mixed. Stock with moderate wear and repaired very old solid stress hairline at wrist. Stock stamped with Naval Academy rack number “A/60”. Very good bore and working order which is usually not the case with these when found.
