Description:
This is a grade 2e smith in super nice condition, it was ordered with 26 inch barrels choked improved modified and improved cylinder, the barrels are in real nice condition with no pitts or rust, it has ejectors that work and are timed, it has the hunter one trigger installed in the rear position making the length of pull 13 1/8 from the rear trigger so it would be roughly 14 1/8 to the front, the wood is all original and the best part of the gun in my opinion, is has fantastic figure or fire grain, very light usage marks in the wood and two very solid but light lock cracks, not very noticable but I need to mention, this gun has great case colors left with the normal carry wear and is tight as a vault, all confirmed in the letter, The letter does not mention the hunter One but it does say the numbers installed are unknown until after 1912, there were about 100 of this grade made in this configuration between 1894 and 1912 also in the letter, will ship to your FFL or C&R insured for asking price.
