Description:
This Garand is fitted out as a M1D Sniper with a T-37 flash suppressor, an M84 scope and leather cheek piece. The original rifle traces back to manufacture in May 1941 based upon the S/N 245xxx. This configuration would have been used in early Viet Nam or possibly late Korea.

Chambers: Internal magazine using 8-round en bloc clips.
Metal Condition: Very good. Some scuffing on the gas tube and receiver but not real bad.
Wood Condition: Very good. A few digs and dents of the kind you would get in a military rack of guns. Clear "P" cartouche.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright.
Barrels: 24 inch barrel.
Triggers: Removable military trigger group.
Stock: Military type smooth walnut with laced-on cheek piece.
Stock Dimensions:
13 inch LOP.
Fore End: Walnut heat shield.
Butt Pad: Steel plate with cleaning kit port.
Weight: 12 lb. - 9 oz. as shown with scope.
Sights: Open sights are military post and peep. Scope is Military M84 with appropriate military receiver mount.
Extras: Scope, scope mount and leather cheek piece.
