***SOLD*** EARLY and RARE Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 28 Highway Patrolman .357 Magnum Revolver, dated to 1954-55, first year of production for the Pre-Model 28. This revolver features a large, robust steel 5-screw N Frame with a fine matte blue finish, with color-case hardened trigger and hammer, as well as an adjustable rear sight and ramp front sight. The revolver has a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder, in addition to correct factory stocks. The revolver is in truly excellent condition, with a beautiful 99% original blue finish, flawless mechanism, and superb bore/chamber surfaces. The grips are factory correct, non matching, however they fit the revolver nicely and have minimal wear. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the revolver. This is a wonderful collectors item, rarely seen and getting rarer! No handgun sales in MA. C&R FFL-03 are welcomed.
