,’Gun dates to 1951. Wonderful upland gun for quail and grouse! BLE, 12 bore O/U with 27.5” (70cm), choked for upland birds with Skt1 (.004), IC (.009). Highly figured capped pistol grip stock, cheekpiece, leather covered pad, single trigger, automatic ejectors, ventilated rib, 3 piece forend, crossbolt lockup, magnificent scroll and game scene engraving over a coined finish, gun remains in excellent condition.
LOP is 14 to leather covered pad. Drop is 1 1/2 to 2 5/8 with slight RH cast. Weight is 6lbs, 9 oz. There is one dent on right side of FE, as shown in photo, which could be repaired. Overall, a very nice post-war example of the wonderful work of Ludwig Borovnik that shows very light use!
