EARLY PRE-SAFETY 1894 .44 MAGNUM CARBINE, #22000XXX, MADE 1978. This one appears about new with the exception that it has a ling swivel stud in the butt and a corresponding one of the wrap around style on the mag tube (if you didn’t want this, the stud in the butt stock was placed in the “bullseye” so a bullseye could be put back in its place- available from Midway, Brownells etc. The front swivel simply comes off the mag tube.) Filler screws missing from the factory drilled scope mounting holes in the receiver top- easily replaced. Exc. bore and mech. Nice, straight-grained deep reddish-brown walnut.
