Description:
This is a VERY RARE Allen & Wheelock 36 caliber Lipfire Navy Revolver, 6 shot with a 6” barrel. The barrel markings are very good. The serial number is 223 of 500 and is matching numbers. It retains 60% original blue finish with an excellent bright and shinny bore. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. Only 500 were made and these are considered a Martial Arm revolver. It comes with 6 original Lipfire cartridges, which are a very rare. These were manufactured in the early 1860s during the Civil War.
