We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

A classic Sig. One of Sig’s finest pistols, the P228 was designed as a more compact version of the P226 and is the predecessor to the P229. According to research, this pistol was produced in 1990. Like most Sig pistols, it was designed for combat duty, but is also suited to such tasks as home-defense and self-defense (car or conceal carry). The double-action/single-action (DA/SA) nature of the pistol, combined with Sig’s trademark de-cocker, makes the P228 a very safe pistol to operate. The P228 has seen use all over the world and has been used by numerous law enforcement and militaryanizations such as the US Army (as the M11), the US Navy (also as the M11), and a few special forces units such as those in Israel and Poland for example. Mechanically, the pistol is sound. The trigger is smooth and crisp. The finish is in roughly 98 percent condition, with the Nitron finish on the top of the barrel having worn away from firing. The barrel is in excellent condition with no rust or pitting; the previous owner took cleaning their firearm seriously. The frame states on the right side that it was made in West Germany. The P228 comes with the original box and manual. Sig pistols are well known world-wide for their accuracy and reliability. If you are looking for a reliable pistol for home defense, or like to collect Sig pistols, the P228 is an excellent choice.
