Description:
I have for sale a very nice and all original Arrieta made for Orvis, Victoria model. This particular gun comes just as it left the factory and I have the original order sheet which will be included with the gun. Nothing has been changed or altered since it left the factory. This is a true sidelock with all the bells and whistles, bushed firing pins, articulated front trigger, cocking indicators, rolled trigger guard, etc. The gun has 26 inch barrels with solid Churchill rib. Chokes are skeet 1 (.002) and skeet 2 or IC (.005) making it a great little upland gun for Quail, Grouse, and Woodcock. Barrels have 2 3/4 inch chambers and perfect bores. Stock is "extra select European Walnut". Dimensions are 1 3/8 X 2 3/8 X 14 3/4 over the Orvis mounted leather covered pad. Gun is cast off 1/4 inch for the right hand shooter. This gun was special ordered with a "Semi Beavertail" forend and I have to say it is one of the smallest beavertails I've seen and looks great on the gun and feels even better. Receiver has beautiful English rose and scroll engraving which is very well executed on "white steel". Weight of the gun is exactly 6 pounds on my digital scale. Look at the pictures and you will see this is one great little gun. Condition is at least 95% with only a few light marks in wood and a couple very light marks on the barrels.
