I have for sale a beautiful and rather rare Webley and Scott Model 728 which of course is a 28 gauge. These may be the ultimate upland bird gun for the person that likes to carry a lite, well balanced 28 gauge. There were very few of these guns brought into the country and I've heard numbers ranging from 50 to no more than 250 so to find one of these in original condition is certainly a huge plus. This particular gun has 26 inch barrels with bores measuring .549 in both barrels. Right barrel has a constriction of .005 IC and left measures .009 Modified. The gun has double triggers, automatic safety, beautiful case coloring and engraving, and all original finishes. Stock dimensions are 1 3/8 X 2 1/8 X 14 3/4. The weight is a delightful 5 pounds 13 ounces and it is cast off for the right hand shooter. If you have looked for an english 28 gauge you know how hard they are to find, especially with good stock dimensions. Condition of this little gun is wonderful with only a couple very light marks. This gun is priced at $5000 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
