Here is a very nice Winchester Model 72A 22 rifle made in the U.S.A. with attached 1" Bushnell 3X9 Scope. The metal on this rifle is beautiful with no dings or scratches or pitting. The stock has only one minor dig on the under side of the stock that I am sure can be sweated out or sanded some. The barrel is mirror like clean and shiney. The paint is worn off of the butt plate which can be fixed with a touch of a black spray can.This rifle is a bit heavier than most other similar 22 rifles and is a tube fed that I have never had one problem with. The front and rear sights were removed to accomidate the big rifle scope. Shooting this 22 rifle and then switching to your bolt action deer rifle makes you a much more accurate shooter. The 3X9 scope made for easy head shots on squirrels the meat went to Mom for her to make squirrel potpie and the tails went to Mepps in exchange for fishing spinners. My Mother hated shot up squirrels. The chrome bolt and chrome trigger guard adds a nice overall look to this fantastic shooting rifle. I only ever shot Remmington Normal Velocity Long Rifles sighted in at 17 and 1/2 yards whitch puts the bullet right on again out at 75 yards. My squirrel shooting was almost always closer than longer ranges. This 72A has a ton of hunting left in it but I got too old and worn out to hunt much these days. It would be nice for this rifle to go back into the hands of a good youngster to make new memories with. Please add $25.00 for shipping and provide me with your FFL ship to info.
