SOLD Good condition 1853 Sharps Carbine in original 1853 condition. These Carbines are rare and hard to get. Wood is nice with no structural cracks. Lots of saddle wear. Look at the pictures. Has normal wear for an antique pre Civil War Carbine. Nice untouched patina on the metal and brass. This one could have been used out west and plenty were used in the Civil War where both sides were scrambling to arm themselves with everything they could get their hands on. Action is tight. Bore has rifling but is dirty. Matching serial number on the top of the tang and on the barrel under the hand guard. Overall very nice Sharps for the condition and the price! Thanks for looking!
