Description:
The ultimate African dangerous game/bush rifle. Built by master gun builder Lon Paul with everything I wanted in a dangerous game rifle. Outstanding XXXX feather crotch English walnut, 14-1/4" l.o.p. with 1/4"cast off, pancake cheekpiece, ebony forend & two crossbolts, excellent 22lpi checkering in similar template of the pre-64 Super Grade checkering pattern and ending with an orange Winchester pad. Duane Wiebe one piece bottom metal with coffin drop box (six cartridges). Winchester Pre-64 action & 22" bbl. Lyman long shaft peep sight plus regulated folding leaf sight with folding/hooded) front night sight. Trap door pistol grip for extra peep aperatures, barrel band sling/swivel. The bottom metal, cross bolts, drop box & trap door grip cap are case colored, with my intitials inlaid in gold on grip cap. This rifle is an absolute thrill to throw up to your shoulder...is a joy to shoot. No expense was spared in the making of this...Lon Paul did a fantastic job meeting all my wishes. Sadly selling due to health reasons.
