Mint Condition, unused Westley Richards best quaility detachable droplock double rifle. Caliber is .450/.400 3", regulated for 400 grain bullets. 24" inch quarter-rib barrels, with one standing and tow folding express sights, flipover hood front sight. Hinged floorplate allows access to the world-renowned Westley detachable locks. Rifle holds stunning case colors, and is completely engraved in classic Englinsh scroll. Fitted with double-triggers, and automatic ejectors. Pistol-grip stock with trap grip cap, features a kidney cheekpiece, and buffalo horn-tip splinter forend. Stock is highly-figured walnut with beautiful fiddleback, contrasting with rich black color, and measures 14 3/4" over a solid red Silvers pad. This rifle is a throwback with respect to handling characteristics, at just 9lbs, 7oz. Doubles do not come any better than Westley Richards. Extraordiary fit, finish, and attention to detail.
