Description:
This is an extremely nice, all-original and un-molested World War 2 CZ Model 27 pistol in .32 ACP made during the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia.  When the Germans invaded Czechoslovakia in 1939 they took over all of the arms production at the CZ plant to both supplement their domestic military arms production and produce weapons for countries friendly to Nazi Germany.  By 1941 virtually all of the arms production was diverted entirely to the German Military.  The CZ Model 27 was a popular sidearm of the German soldier in all branches of the military, the police, and the SS.  These simple blow-back operated semi-automatic pistols were well-made, reliable, and accurate, and their relatively small size made them an excellent choice for a sidearm for both combat and rear echelon troops.  This particular example is serial number 245830 and was most likely made in early 1943.  It is a very attractive pistol with almost all of the factory original blue finish remaining on the slide and frame, as well as most of the original yellow "straw" finish on the trigger, extractor, and hammer.  As you can see from the pictures this CZ shows only some very minor handling marks, and most of the finish wear is located on a few of the high edges, the front grip strap, and underside of the frame below the barrel.  The golden yellow straw finish is particularly good on the trigger, usually one of the first places it is worn off on other examples we have had.  All of the factory stampings on this vz 27 are crisp and clear, and the Waffenamts on the barrel, frame, and slide are in perfect condition.  All of the numbered parts including the barrel, slide, and frame are matching and 100% original.  The bore in this pistol excellent and mirror-bright.  The rifling still shows nice sharp lands and grooves throughout the bore, and there is no visible pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind.  The original 1-piece brown Bakelite grips on this Nazi CZ are in exceptional condition.  They are completely free from any cracks, chips, or repairs, and the checkering and CZ logos are crisp, clean, and free from wear and damage on both sides.  Usually with these pistols you will find the grips chipped off at the left and right lower edge where they form the magwell, this pistol is in perfect shape there and has obviously been well cared for over the years.  All of the controls on this CZ are in perfect working order, and the action is slick and precise.  The frame to slide fit is excellent without any slop, and the internal parts of this Model 27 are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior.  There is no doubt that this pistol would function just as well today as the day it left the factory 76 years ago.  This Nazi CZ vz 27 pistol comes complete with the original factory magazine which is marked "P.Mod.27" on the baseplate.  It is in excellent condition just like the pistol and 100% functional.  If you have been looking for one of the Nazi CZ Model 27 pistols for your collection here is your chance to get an exceptionally clean and all-original example that is fresh on the market.
