This is a nice looking 1980 Glenfield Model 25 Rifle made by The Marlin Firerms Company that shoots 22 S-L-LR. She is in damn good shape for being a few months away from being 40 years old. Dang, I wish I was only 40 years old again. This rifle is magazine fed or clip fed if your not a purist. The rifle came stock with the sling mounts. You can still hear the loud snap when you install the magazine. If you do not hear the snap your clip isn't in yet. The barrel is ding free, scratch free, and rust free, thanks to years of Hoppes #9 and regular cleaning. The stock is in very nice condition as well with only a few very small hardly noticable dings. Over all this 22 rifle is ready for the squirrel woods. My father in law gave this rifle to me years ago and he only used it as a hog gun when butchering. I don't know when he put the Barska 4 Power scope on this rifle so make sure the rifle is shot in before you hunt with it. The scope has those seethrough scope covers as well. One clip or magazine comes with this rifle, however parts can still be very easily be found for this Model 25. On this Model 25 when the safety is on the bolt will still open, so you need not worry anout accidental discharge when taking the bullet out of the chamber and emptying the rifle. This rifle is so clean and shiney the dang squirrels will see you comming a mile off. I am only asking $150 for this beauty which includes the shipping to your FFL Dealer.
