PRE-WW2 SPRINGFIELD M1 OR M-1 GARAND U.S. .30-06 CAL. RIFLE CIRCA OCTOBER, 1941. Serial numbered in the 382, xxx range manufactured prior to the beginning of the 2nd World War. All original with the barrel changed during the War in March, 1945 and stamped on the barrel “1-S-A-3-45”. Trigger group also stamped "sa-45". Retains nearly all the Parkerized finish with very light wear. Stock excellent with fine Ordnance inspector’s cartouche “SA/GHS” and light stain added for preservation many years ago. Excellent bore and in perfect working order.
