Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
This is a nice example of the 1974 Ducks Unlimited Remington Model 870 shotgun. It features a special engraving pattern with gold lacquer and Ducks Unlimited “Shield” on the receiver. This gives the 870DU a distinct appearance. The barrel is 28-inches in length and has a fixed, modified choke and a vent rib with a silver bead at the front. The buttstock features a Remington-label vent rubber butt pad with a white spacer. There is a second spacer beneath the pistol grip cap. There is a minor scratch on top of the receiver and a miniscule spot of pitting on the lower right side of the magazine tube. The right action bare exhibits a small amount of finish wear as does the bottom of the mag tube. This is common to pump shotguns. Otherwise, the bluing is in 98 percent condition and the bore is pristine. The wood furniture features a nice high gloss finish. Produced in 1974, the 870DU was only the second DU shotgun to be produced, preceded by the Model 1100DU of 1973. Only around 600 of the 870 DU were produced for Ducks Unlimited making these the second rarest DU shotgun (the rarest being the aforementioned 1100DU at 500 produced). For collectors of DU shotguns the 870DU is a must have.
