Description:
Up for sale: a pair of Smith and Wesson 5 screw revolvers.
K-22 Masterpiece,Pre Model 17. Manufactured in 1951
S&W .357 Magnum,Pre Model 27, Manufactured in 1957
Both guns are in excellent condition
The K-22 has the correct grips but not original to the gun
The gun is finished in the factory matte bluing
The finish is thin on the edges still rate at 87%
The .357 has replacement grips
The finish is the deep shinny factory blue
that has a little dulling at the end of the barrel
The .357 Magnum is last year they were manufactured
after that it was known as the Model 27 with the 4 screw frame
many collectors feel that the post war 5 screw was the best ever made
Metal condition, excellent
Bluing, excellent 95%+
Bore, excellent
Timing, perfect
