This is a Springfield Armory 1873 trap door rifle in .45-70 Govt. The rifle is in overall surplus good condition and appears to be in good mechanical condition. It has the normal patina you see on most of these rifles throughout. The stock is in good condition with normal dings and handling marks. The bore is dark with light rust and there is still rifling present.
