Description:
This rifle is the 7.62x39 variant to the VZ 52. A gas operated semi-auto with folding bayonet.Originally designed and produced with the 7.62x45 cartridge as the VZ 52 however, at the insistance of the Soviet Unionthe rifle was redesigned to operate with the 7.62X39 Soviet round thus, the VZ 52/57 model designation.
