REMINGTON MODEL 870 LW SPECIAL IN 20 GAUGE. Gun CHAMBERS EITHER 2 3/4 or 3 INCH SHELLS. Has a 21 INCH VENT RIB BARREL WITH REMY CHOKE and two beads. NICE WALNUT STRAIGHT GRIP ENGLISH STOCK WITH A SOLID RECOIL PAD. NICE CUT CHECKERING. THE original BLUE IS IN GREAT CONDITION AT 99%. THE original FOREND HAS A COUPLE OF HANDLING MARKS ON THE LEFTSIDE, THE original STOCK IS EXCELLENT. THIS 1990 GUN IS STILL 99% OVERALL CONDITION. The "LW" means that it is the 20ga frame (some earlier 870s 20ga guns were built on the 12ga frame). A VERY HARD TO FIND LIGHT WEIGHT 20 GAUGE. WEIGHT 6 1/4 LBS to make many bird hunters smile. This 870 LW Special Field is a grouse hunter's classic. Excellent beginner gun for anyone going into the field. Buyer pays $50 shipping and insurance.
