*** SOLD *** This beautiful and extremely well balanced 12 gauge over/under is truly a custom handmade shotgun. It flows to the target like few other guns do. Made in 1973 it is fully engraved and signed by Master Engraver Sabatti. *** It has 74 cm(29-1/8”) Boehler Steel barrels choked Modified and Full(.022/.041) and is chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells. The barrels are topped by a ventilated hand cross-hatched rib. Bluing is excellent. The beautifully engraved sidelocks are accented by gold tipped pins. Like all SO Beretta EELL sidelocks this gun has the signature pierced toplever with inlaid gold crown. It has a single SELECTIVE trigger and weighs 7lb 8oz. The barrel bluing and the finish on the frame and sidelocks are in excellent condition. There is some bluing wear on the trigger guard. *** The pistol grip stock and slender forearm are made from highly figured European walnut. The stock has a blank gold initial plate and a righthand palm swell. Checkering is crisp. The stock was professionally refinished recently and looks great. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2” over a 7/8" leather pad by 1-1/4” by 1-3/4”. Cast off for the righthand shooter. *** This Beretta S3 EELL comes with a Nizzoli leather case with green wool felt interior and sewn-in leather Beretta maker's label. Case has separate compartments for turnscrews and other accessories. Snap caps, turnscrews, oil bottle, mahogany cleaning rod, and cleaning tips have been added making this a practical as well as handsome travel case. New Nizzoli cases retail for over $2,000. This case does show some wear on the exterior. The interior lining does not look worn but there are two small tears in the fabric which can be easily repaired. *** This special S3 EELL is a lethal weapon in the hands of a skilled pigeon or bunker trap shooter.
