This Smith & Wesson's serial number is J83841. It is a five shot revolver. The pinned barrel is 2 inches. It has the standard non ajustable sights. The wood grips are serial numbered to the pistol. This Smith & Wesson shows very little use or being fired. The bore is bright with no frosting. The action is smooth and locks up tight. The color cased hammer and trigger show good color and retain almost all of the finish. The original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. This is a very fine condition Chief's model pistol!
