The Remington Model 700 is one of the most famous, and most popular bolt action rifles ever made, so much so that it is still in production >55 years after its introduction! The Model 700 rifle has been used all over the world by hunters, military snipers, police, and match target shooters. Present is the 700 Classic Model. According to the barrel date code, the rifle left the Remington factory in 1982. This is one owner gun allinal. Wood and Metal are 99.5%! The stock is a beautiful Dark Walnut Monte Carlo with black tip, sling swivel studs, and elegant checkering. The bore is bright in excellent condition.The action itself is very smooth. The 24 inch barrel has been "glassed" and combined with the 270 Winchester caliber it makes for a very excellent-extremely accurate-flat shooting and effective shooting/hunting rifle. The front and rear sights have been removed. However, I am going to ship it with scope mounts in excellent condition and nylon camo carrying strap in a hard case. This gun will not disappoint!
