Description:


This is a Model 1851 Navy Colt percussion Revolver. Six (6) shot. with an 7.5" barrel. Has a very good bore. Action and lockup is tight and indexes properly. All numbers match the serial number #127829 that is found on the Barrel, Frame, Trigger gaurd and Back strap and on the wedge, arbor, lever and grips.   Manufactured in 1862, at the height of the Civil War.  Blued/Brown patina  finish, varnished walnut grips.Pleasing un-cleaned brass back strap and trigger guard.  Faint cylinder scene, flattened safety pins, minor oxidation/pitting, and strong varnish on the excellent grip, which only has mild lower edge wear and some scattered light scratches and marks.  Marked "COLTS/PATENT" on left side of frame. Marked "-ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-". Also marked on cylinder is:"COLTS PATENT No.7829".  Buyer Pays $20.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.  I accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check.
