Listed is a minty Winchester Model 61 with serial number 229270 chambered for .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle with a Winchester M61 plain box. Gun was made in 1955.
It has a 24 inch round barrel with the correct front and rear sights. The top of the receiver is grooved for scope mount. It has about 97% barrel, mag tube and receiver blue and 97% wood finish. Slight blue loss on barrel and mag tube from slide. Steel butt plate. Perfect bore. Comes with the Winchester model 61 box. Difficult to read the serial number on the end label. Box is in very good condition. Most of the contents are gone.
