The Washington Arms Co. .28 Caliber revolver. (Marked on top of the Bar Hammer) This is a WW. Marston 6-shot .28 caliber double action pepper/box with ribbed barrels . One rib marked “cast steel”. This pepperbox has the frame and nipple shield engraved. One Barrel has a repair. Barrel length is 6”. Barrels have later blue but very well done. Action works perfectly. Frame has some scattered light pits. Grips are very good. Marston marked their pepperboxes, often without the Marston Name and instead used the names Washington Arms, Union Arms and Phenix Armory. This is a Dragoon size pepperbox.
