Description:
“COLT AUTOMATIC” “455 ELEY CALIBRE” marked on right side of the slide and some crown proof marks. This contract had a “W” prefix before the serial number. Original magazine is also stamped Cal. 455 ELEY. Right side of the frame is stamped “R.A.F.” with more British proof and inspector marks. This Colt was made in 1918. Diamond checkered walnut grips show wear but look good. Pistol has a dull blue finish with slight edge wear to the high points. A real good bore with crisp action. A scarce gun from WW1.
