Description:
This classic Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1956 and features the clean lines of the Model 70 walnut stock with pistol grip, blue steel butt plate, Lyman peep rear sight and hinged floor plate.

Curio/Relic: Yes
Manufacturer: 1956 based upon the S/N.
Caliber Info: .30-06 Springfield.
Chambers: Internal magazine with hinged floorplate.
Metal Condition: Very good. Much of the remains, even in the butt plate. There are a few scratches on the barrel and a couple on the trigger guard.
Wood Condition: Very good. A few very shall scratches and there are a couple of small dents.
Bore Condition: A bit dark but shiny and with good rifling.
Barrels: 24 inch - blue, with gold bead front sight. The rear sight is removed for use of the peep and the dovetail properly plugged.
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock: Checkered pistol grip walnut.
Stock Dimensions:
13 - 1/2 Inch LOP.
Butt Pad: Blue steel plate.
Weight: 8 lb. - 10 oz.
Sights: Gold bead front sight, Lyman peep rear sight.
