Description:
REDUCED FROM $2995: 1916-17(per serial # range) DWM Swiss Police M1906 Series Luger in 7.65x21mm caliber version. This pistol was issued to Swiss Police, did its tour of duty and turned back in. It has the series grip safety and stamped with Cross in Shield on the chamber. By the small cross on barrel/receiver and P stampings on trigger guard, it was reworked at some point in time and released for commercial sales. This pistol was possibly refinished at time or rework. It has period correct grips that are in excellent condition. All parts are number matching to serial # except for small side plate next to takedown lever. Strawing is beautiful and grip screws appear to be flame heated to exhibit a vivid blue hue. The pistol functions perfectly. Please review all the photos and do not hesitate to request more. Comes with 2 period correct magazines. One mag is stamped but not a matching number. The other appears to be scuffed on the bottom and numbers are illegible. The holster is of Swiss manufacture and the numbers 43 stamped in leather which probably is date stamp.
