Very Good to Excellent quality 1939 Winchester Model 62 (.22 Shorts, Long and Long-rifle). All original example used for family target practice and occasional Squirrel hunting. 23" round barrel. Walnut straight stock and fore-piece/slide handle. Exposed Hammer serves as safety in half-cocked position. original blued finish is 98% intact w/ very minor evidence of previous rust. Wood shows some use, but no significant dents or scratches.Cocking mechanism shows some wear. The gun functions as new.
