The Mainstay of Winchester’s Single Shot Lineup!
Here we present a C&R Winchester Model 67A Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle, made in New Haven, Connecticut. The Winchester Model 67 was a single-shot, bolt-action .22 caliber rimfire rifle sold from 1934 to 1963 by Winchester Repeating Arms Company. Based on the earlier Model 60, the Model 67 was the mainstay of Winchester's inexpensive single-shot rifle lineup.
This Model 67A has a 27-inch barrel with a blade front sight and a U-notch rear sight which is adjustable for elevation. It is chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, or .22 Long Rifle cartridges interchangeably. The stock made of plain uncheckered walnut with a pistol grip and has a takedown design. The barreled action is easily removed by turning a screw under the stock using a coin.
The overall condition is very good. 95% of the original blue finish remains. The markings are clear. The stock shows use and handling marks yet remains solid. The bore is clean and bright with strong rifling. The action is excellent. Here is the rifle that every 14-year-old boy wanted for Christmas, that many a squirrel were taken out of the woods hunting with Dad!
